These terms cover your use of this website and the services provided by Vanderclock Outdoor Services. By requesting a quote or using our service you agree to them.
Vanderclock Outdoor Services SMS Messaging Terms
Program name and description
Vanderclock Outdoor Services Customer Care Messaging. When you opt in, you may receive text messages relating to your landscaping work: replies to a quote you requested, appointment confirmations and reminders, notice that the crew is on the way, updates about work performed at your property, and requests for feedback on completed work.
Message frequency
Message frequency may vary depending on how often your property is serviced and what work is underway.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and from you to us. Contact your wireless provider for details of your plan.
How to opt out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply reply STOP to any message you receive from us, or text STOP to (973) 706-4286. After you send STOP we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and after that you will no longer receive messages from us. Opting out of text messages does not cancel your landscaping service and does not stop us contacting you by phone or email about work at your property.
How to rejoin
If you opt out and later want to receive messages again, you can opt back in by signing up again through our quote form, or by replying START or UNSTOP to our number, and we will resume sending messages.

Carrier liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase and is never required in order to receive a quote or to book work. Consent boxes on our forms are never pre selected. You choose to tick them.
Privacy
For privacy related inquiries, please refer to our privacy policy: our privacy policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted.
Industry standards
This messaging program is operated in accordance with CTIA messaging principles and best practices and with applicable carrier requirements.
Legal compliance
We operate this messaging program in accordance with applicable federal and state law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and applicable state telemarketing rules. We do not send messages to numbers that have not opted in.
Quotes and estimates
Estimates are free and carry no obligation. A quote is based on the property as described and as seen at the time of the visit. If conditions on site differ materially from what was described, we will tell you before doing extra work rather than adding it to the invoice afterwards.
Scheduling and weather
Landscaping is weather dependent. We may need to move a scheduled visit because of rain, frozen ground, storms or other conditions that would make the work unsafe or produce a poor result. We will let you know as early as we can and reschedule.
Access to your property
By booking work you confirm that you own the property or have permission to authorise work on it, and that you will provide reasonable access on the scheduled day, including access to gates, water and outdoor power where the work requires it.
Payment
Payment terms are agreed in writing before work begins. The invoice matches the estimate unless you approved additional work.
Photography
We may photograph completed work for our portfolio. Photos show the work, never house numbers, and never identify your address. If you would prefer we did not photograph your property, tell us and we will not.
Website content
Content on this site is provided for general information about our services. Photographs may include representative examples of landscaping work as well as our own completed projects. We do our best to keep the site accurate but we do not guarantee that every detail is current.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with the services is limited to the amount paid for the work in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page.
