Vanderclock Outdoor Services (“we”, “us” or “our”) operates this website and provides landscaping services across North Jersey, including mulch and rock installation, bed edging, planting, spring and leaf cleanups, and landscape design. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do and do not do with it.

Mobile information and text messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted.

Text messaging originator opt in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for aggregators and providers.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need in order to quote and perform landscaping work.

• Information you give us directly. Your name, phone number, email address, town, service address, the service you are asking about, your property size, your timeline, and any details or photos you choose to add to a quote request.
• Information from communication. Notes from calls, texts and emails about your property and the work performed.
• Basic technical information. Standard web server information such as browser type and pages viewed, used only to keep the site working.

We do not collect payment card details through this website.

How we use it

• To respond to a quote request and to schedule and perform work.
• To contact you about your own property, appointments, and work in progress.
• To send service related text messages and emails where you have given consent.
• To keep records of work performed at your property.

How we share it

We share information only where it is necessary to run the business:

• Service providers who operate our scheduling, customer relationship and messaging systems on our behalf.
• Suppliers or trade partners where a job requires it, and only the detail needed to complete that job.
• Where the law requires it.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers.

We do not sell your information. We do not buy or sell leads. We have no affiliate arrangements involving your information.

Text message consent

If you tick a consent box on our quote form, you are agreeing to receive text messages from Vanderclock Outdoor Services at the number you provided. Consent is never a condition of getting a quote or booking work, consent boxes are never pre selected, and you can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and job records for as long as we need them to service your property and to meet our record keeping obligations. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will.

• Ask us what information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your information.
• Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
• Unsubscribe from any email using the link in that email.

Security

We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us. No system is perfect, so we do not claim that transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
